  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM QUANTITY FOR AN ORDER?

    Screen Printing:

    Our minimum order is 12 pieces for logos up to 2 colors

    24 pieces for logos up to 4 colors

    49 or more pieces for logos up to 7 colors

    Please contact us for any logos 7 colors or more

    Personal names and team numbers are an exception to our 12 piece minimum

     

    Embroidery/DTG/Laser Applique/Laser Etching

    There are NO minimums required!

     

     

  • WHAT IS YOUR STANDARD TURNAROUND TIME?

    Since we are manufacturers, our turnaround and production times will fluctuate throughout the year and during our busier seasons. Our minimum production time on orders is 5 business days for standard orders. Please refer to our home page or your CSR for our current production times for all of our decoration services.

    *Please note production times begin after all proofs have been approved and goods have been received and verified – Please allow 1 business day for receipt and check of all goods for orders up to 1,000 pieces*

  • ARE RUSH SERVICES AVAILABLE?

    Rush services are available upon request, and are subject to manager approval.

  • WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I SEND GARMENTS IN TO STITCH DESIGNERS?

    We receive daily shipments from several carriers including, but not exclusive to: UPS. Sanmar PSST, FedEx, USPS.

    All parcels are opened to verify their contents against the packing slip enclosed.

    Goods are then labeled with bin location, customer name, PO#, date received and quantity inside box.

    Boxes are put in corresponding bin locations- this location is noted on packing slip and given to customer service for secondary verification.

    *Please allow 1 business day for receipt verification on all orders up to 1,000 pieces* 

  • DO YOU GET FREE INBOUND FREIGHT WITH ANY CLOTHING VENDORS?

    YES, we get free inbound freight with S&S Activewear, Alpha Broder, Rivers End and Sanmar PSST.

  • DOES STITCH DESIGNERS PROVIDE THE GARMENTS?

    We are contract decorators and do not sell garments. If you are unable to order the garments and need us to, please refer to our catalog and contact your CSR for assistance.

  • WHERE SHOULD I SEND MY ORDERS?

    For quicker response, please remit all P.O’s, artwork, and information pertaining to your CSR.

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PROOF?

    SCREENPRINT/DTG  

    Allow 48 hours for virtual proof.

    To avoid delays Please provide us with any requested pantone matches and size requirements for your logo when art/order is submitted.

    EMBROIDERY /LASER ETCHING & APPLIQUE 

    Allow 2-3 business days for virtual proof & sample sew-out.

    To avoid delays Please provide us with any requested pantone or thread color matches, and size requirements for your logo when art/order is submitted. We will test your design on our machines – please note the type of garments to be sewn, as we strive to test your designs on materials comparable to your order for a true comparison.

     

     

  • WHAT IS YOUR SPOILAGE POLICY?

    Embroidery

    We have a basic spoilage policy of 2% on flat items (shirts/scarves) and 3% on bulk items (hats/bags) per imprint location. Some restrictions may apply. We will notify you of any spoilage once order is complete and damage to garment has been confirmed.

    Screenprint

    We have a basic spoilage policy of 2% or 5 pieces per imprint location – whichever is greater. If you need an exact quantity, please order extras in each size.

     

  • WHAT KIND OF EMBROIDERY THREAD DO YOU USE?

    Stitch Designers has been a contract embroiderer for over 30 years. So needless to say we have a large inventory of thread here at our disposal. While we do carry both polyester and rayon threads, our main supplier is now Isacord.

     

    Why Isacord?

    We’ve found their colorfast polyester thread to be both strong and durable.

    *We do not carry all threads from Isacord in our current inventory. There could be substitutions in either Rayon or Polyester from other thread vendors (Robison Anton, Madeira etc)*

  • WHAT IS YOUR STANDARD SIZE LOGO FOR...?

    Truth be told, logos come in all shapes and sizes and there is no “standard”.  When we review your artwork, we’re looking over the individual elements –  it’s important they are all at a good size to sew out consistent.
    A great reference is our Machine Limitations Page. Here we’ve listed the most common imprint locations and given you the maximum size allowance for each.

    Below are some pitfalls to avoid on your next embroidery project:

    Is the text at least 1/4″?

    Are there a lot of fine lines and detail?

    Are there color gradients or fading in the logo?

    What fabric or garment type will this be sewn on?

  • WILL YOU ACCEPT DIGITIZED FILES FROM ANOTHER SUPPLIER?

    Yes. We will accept digitized files from another supplier. We cannot be held responsible for the quality of the digitized file or how it sews since we did not create it ourselves.

    However, we will test the design out on a garment material that’s comparable to what you’re running on the current order and send you a proof prior to running your order.

    Acceptable file formats : DST (Tajima format), EMB file, EXP file.
